have any of you eaten rocky mountain oysters?

i was hesitant but i ate bull nuts once and they were awesome and i'm glad i tried them. they remind me of fried tilapia by taste and texture. have any of you tried them? what did you think?

so many people eat hot dogs and they have butt holes in it why not eat balls?

i LOVE rocky mountain oysters!!!! in my house, i serve them to my hubby and kids about twice a week, either deep fat fried or in my special stew. i enjoy serving them with poached peas, deviled eggs, or cottage cheese casserole. desert is usually crab apple cobbler or chocolate covered orange mousse. email me if you're ever in my area, and would like to come to my house for dinner!

Yep - a local bar and grill owned by a family friend has an annual "Nut Fry" - and it is amazing the crowd it draws

I am not a big fan - the texture is odd to me - but the flavor is OK - it's more of a tradition thing these days to support our friend

LMFAO nope never ate the cow nuts. I saw it on fear factor though. From their faces they werent to fond of the texture and taste, and sure as hell werent glad they had to eat them so i said to myself ILL PASS but i can eat pig ears, tails, pigs feet, turkey neck, chittlins, and hog maws.

Not me, but I've had deep fried turkey testicles. They were suprisingly good.

yes. in southeast texas they're pretty common place. i thought they were good, but i don't think i would prefer them to a good steak!
