I really need some help/advice as I am freaking out beyond belief right now. Please read the details in full before responding. Thank you and please, please, please list your source:
Yesterday afternoon I noticed my pomeranian would not come out from under the bed. Usually when my girlfriend comes home she jumps and attacks her with love and yesterday she didn't. I tried to pick her up and she cried. I noticed she was shaking. All day prior to this (5pm) she was playful and had a normal appetite.
I automatically took her to the vet. She didn't want to stand on all four paws and was shaking while being examined. I didn't worry too much as she shakes when not at home.
The vet found NOTHING wrong with her, just a little high temp.
She is still not moving much, won't eat, and cries when picked up. Anyone know what or why this is? She is 2 and not fixed. PLEASE HELP ME.

Check out this site. It could be the dogs hips or knees.

Basically what everyone has said - check the food recall to make sure its not something she ate. Many vendors are doing private testing of all dog food, not just the ones in the recall (our local supermarket is and Trader Joes, where we get our dog food is also doing private testing even though there food isn't manufactured by those affected in the recall).
I would take your dog back to the vet if she's gotten worse and/or take her to another vet if the first gives the same diagnosis as previously. Feel her body for lumps from a possible sting or bite and bring it to the vets attention.

Take her back to the vet and tell them that she is getting worse...When you first took her she was eating, right? Well, now she isn't and she isn't getting better. Take her back to the vet. If they still cannot find what is wrong, take her to a different vet. Has she eaten any of the foods on the recall list?? She could have been poisoned if she has eaten any of them...IF she has eaten any of the recalled foods, tell the vet when you take her back. But, you need to take her back up there.

I presume the vet didn't just say 'nothing wrong' and send her home? If not, you might want a second opinion. Did the vet mention she might be in season? This might be the case. Being in season can make dogs act completely unlike themselves.
Either ring your vet and ask for clarification - either she's in season or there IS something wrong - or get a second opinion.

i have to agree with the gal who answered first, check and see if the food you feed you dog is whats being recalled(had rat poison in it)
a second vet would be a VERY wise thing to do, i volunteered at a vets office for 2 years and i don't trust your vets diagnosis

First question, is its food the subject of the recall?
If not, and it doesnt get better in a day or two, I would get a second opinion from another vet.
Good luck, so sorry to hear your pet isnt well : /

You should check on her body for lil bites...or stings form a spider or maybe a bee. Little dogs hate being sting or bitten. She may still be scared from the bite. Also if she was stun or bitten she woud have pain and not want to be on her feet.

something is wrong; vet hospital in your area??? or go to another vet ??? being spayed or not has nothing to do with her symptoms ; she is trying to tell you something , listen to your instincts and not that vet ; I changed vets 3 times and still am cautious ; if it doesn't sound right, it isn't , new opinion needed asap
