find calorie/fitness calculator on the net, enter your stats and it will tell you how many calories a day you need to maintain your weight. take 300-400calories off that number and that's how much you need to lose weight.
eat 5-6 small meals a day instead of 3 big ones.
5-8 servings of fruit and vegetables a day.
8 glasses of water a day.
4-6 times a week cardio work out for 30-50min plus light weight training.
no junk food, no sodas, no white flour (white bread, pasta, cookies, cakes etc)

Healthy foods are great, but ultimately, the number of calories consumed decides if you'll lose any weight. My husband counted calories (1500 per day) and lost 30 pounds with almost no real effort-no working out or anything like that. He drank lots of water and only diet soft drinks. It worked really fast for him because he was dedicated to the weight loss. No cheating.

Go by the numbers, The scale doesn't lie. Focus on alot of cardio and toning exercises and a realistic diet plan. It isnt going to happen quickly though, but It will happen and It will be harder to gain weight back when you develop healthy habits.
