Hi, my name is Jessie. My husband and I will be married for three yrs. on April 19th. Thing is, is I dont know what to get him for this anniversary because hes overseas in Japan and Im here stateside till August. Any ideas...Im fresh out.

The 3rd anniversary gift is leather. Have a " glamor shot" photo taken of you, put it in a new leather wallet, and send it off to him. NOTE: put a new penny in the wallet. You never give an empty wallet....Bad luck not to.

Here's something creative that will be appreciated and you will have fun doing:
Make up a crossword puzzle and have all the hints be personal inside moments and jokes that only you two would know about. Put it on a poster board and add some clipart and some pictures to it!
The crossword puzzle could be time consuming and a bit frustrating ... you could do the same idea with a WORDSEARCH or WORDFIND puzzle.
Put your computer skills to work! Use Excel, get clipart from Yahoo Images Search, copy them, and reformat them, use a gluestick to put on posterboard.
Use graph paper, and pictures from magazines if you are not as good on the computer, and it will give it a homemade feeling.

Well maybe you could get some pictures together and things from your eariler years of marriage and create a scrapbook. Add a few poems and things that will remind him of how much you love him. If you could afford to fly over there and be with him on that day. But the scrapbook idea is something he might enjoy and have with him if the two of you are ever apart again.

Is it possible for you to fly to Japan to be with him for a few days? If so, that'd be a wonderful and unexpected surprise for him. Actually, that'd be the BEST anniversary gift ever....one you two will always remember. I say it'd be the best anniversary gift ever, because how likely is it that he'd be out of town (or out of the country) during another anniversary of yours? Good luck with your decision.

Maybe a scrapbook that has pictures and items that refresh memories within the 3 years or before you got married too. Or you can make something for him if your artistic, or you can get someone to paint a portrait of your wedding picture or something like that??? And maybe when he comes you can plan a special day as a substitute??

I think you should go over there (If possible) and suprise him and then have a fun night on the town or have a romantic evening alone. Congrats!!!!! I'm sure whatever you decide, will be fine!!!!!! Best Wishes for Years to Come!!!!!
