I think it's kinda cute. Like my 'sparky' and red mage's 'skippy'. I think it also all means more or less the same thing ;)

A peanut looks kind of phallic. So, the devil probably makes you call someone a penis, so he probably makes you call a person peanut too which means deformed penis. And the devil is resposnbile for the persecution of Christians. So basically if you call a Christian a peanut you are saying, "Christian, you are a deformed penis." So yes, it's persecution.

Haha, no. I wouldn't mind i guess.
One time in one of my classes I got in trouble for calling someone a silly goose! haha, apparently it's persecution and rude to call someone a name. I didn't even mean it in a mean way! haha
but i really don't think that that many people would be bothered by you calling them a peanut! haha

My family and friends call me with the name that is common when one has the name I have.However, I hate that name and I feel very "persecuted" if someone says that name to me even after I have asked people not to use it.
I think name calling is not nice anyway. Especially when one feels that they are not what they are called. : )

There are a lot of people allergic to peanuts. They may take offence. They may feel like "persecutees".
