No, it has never given me such a reaction at all. I use logic and facts to deal with "being down" since "being down" is often a feeling based on lies and negative assumptions.

I follow my heart when I exercise. Other activities such as decision making and reasoning, I use my brain. And analyzing always make me feel energized not 'down'.

Of course I don't analyze all the time, I take breaks to enjoy life too.

Analyzing does not make me feel down. Analyzing makes me feel satisfied with my choices, or it makes me smarter for the next time I face a choice.
in my case though I almost always follow my heart, it just so happens that my heart and my brain work together.

You need to reason. You need to study the thing out in your mind and pray, and meditate. If not, even if you think you are following your heart, you may do the wrong thing. You need to really find out what is right before just 'following your heart'. You could ablaze too long, but I wouldn't worry about that.

No, not at all. I love to use my brain. Why would I be down about using my God given gifts of logic and reason? That makes no sense.
