You're getting the responses I expected. Muslims quote the bible when it suits them, then claim it was changed when it doesn't. I looked on answering-christianity for a list of what parts were and weren't changed, but couldn't find one. From what I can tell Muslims believe all the parts they don't like were changed.

We don't believe Jesus is a liar. It may have been that MAN changed the books through history - there is more than enough evidence to prove this.
We believe Jesus will be the prophet who returns as the messiah.
Stevers - we do NOT believe Jesus is God's son. One of the fundamental principles of Islam is that God is one, and has no sons etc etc.
As usual I note that a religious question is producing a lot of hatred. Why? We seem to forget that Jews, Christians, and Muslims are all worshipping the same God but under different teachings. There are obviously differences, but the fundamental fact that our God is the same should be the most important. Hmmm.... I wonder how much more hatred that comment will generate?

I don't doubt Isa (PBUH) was truthful. I do find the Bible suspect in its divinity and doubt much of what is attributed to Isa (PBUH).

Jesus never lie. It is your bible writers that lie. Your own Christian scholar even questioned your bible, then you expect the muslims to believe it. Puh..lease........

Muslims do believe Jesus was God's son, but He made a serious mistake trusting his disciples to write down his teaching, and they changed the message for their own purposes. Jesus should have written down the scriptures himself, and that was a major flaw in his teaching. Muhammad also did not write down the Quoran, and that was a flaw in his teaching. It seems to be be a necessary part in the spread of any religious teaching, as Bhudda also made the same mistake.
