If anyone threatens my well being or even my family I won't hesitate for a nanosecond. My philosphy is kill or be killed when war comes to my neibourhood.

What a horrible thing to be thinking of. The climate change will be about 1 degree in the next hundred years and about 1.5 inches of sea level increase. Try enjoying life and drop the paranoia.

I don´t know the figure but there is already a large number of environmental refugees:
- rich Chinese people leaving the towns for the mountains
- African people trying to escape desertification and droughts
- Pacific Islanders and Pakistanis who fear sea level rising
- Delta farmers who see the salinity of their land increasing because of sea-level rise
- Inuits who are expecting difficulties to hunt over the melting ice caps and have their settlements unsafe on the melting ice
There were once brilliant farming civilisations in Cyrenaica (today Lybia) who didn´t realize that they irrigated their fields with exhaustable water resources (maybe dating from the big "biblical flood"). Well anyway, do you know what happened to them ? They destroyed themselves fighting over the resources instead of using them wisely...
Maybe WE can learn from them

Good question! I don't have an answer. I think we should all start preparing for that day. If we keep on they way we are living it will be soon. The real question is why is everyone ignoring the signs? Why aren't we making a change? Go to www.theaircar.com Why in the heck do we all not have one of these cars. Makes no since to me. I know it has to do with the economy. The government wont mandate everyone to trade in their cars for this one because the economy will go south. Who freak cares! It will recover. Besides there wont be an economy if we don't make changes soon. Heck, there wont even be a freaking human race!
