Yes, it seems to give me a sense of hope. Winter depresses me something awful and spring reawakens my spirit.

Why yes, it does. Its like coming out of a long tunnel into the sunlight. Winter is all about the snow and stars, rest and contemplation, quiet reflection, silence solitude... mental hibernation if you will... spring brings back all the urgent business of life and a frenzy of activity. Spring awakens the mind to new life, new possibility, new everything... the birds the trees, leaves, flowers, insects all return from the cold embrace of winter and renew their lives and struggles. Its wonderful, I love it... You could even say I'm "Twitterpated"..lol

Absolutely yes!
Winter is letting go, and spring is beginning to envelop the land. The birds are coming back, the tulips are poking up through the soil, and the warmer breezes are breathing new life into everyone around.
I feel rejuvenated, and excited about a new time of beginnings, growth and possibilities.
Wonderful spring!

I find that this is caused by increased levels of sunshine, called in other words "spring fever" I think. It's the opposite of seasonal affective disorder.
So I guess so, but it's not spiritual so much as neuro-chemical.

It's getting autumnal, here in the southern hemisphere.
A good time for reflection, and thought.
Have a good spring.
Cheers.
