I'm just wondering if anyone has some good scientifically backed stories from the Bible, or the Qur'an or any other religious text.

Based on actual science, not pseudo science.

For example, the deadly plagues of Egypt can be explained by the erruption of the Santorini volcano.

Does anyone else have any other examples like these?

There aren't any. A scientific backing implies laws of nature, which have no exceptions; religious phenomena require belief in supernatural phenomena, which are by definition exceptions to the laws.

Archeology points to the existence of people and events from the Bible all of the time. It establishes the events of the Bible as historical fact as opposed to being just fables. For example, archeology in Jerusalem are uncovering what they believe are ruins from King David's palace. The existing historical markers in Israel also are a testimony to the accuracy of the Bible. For instance, when King David conquered Jerusalem and took the city, as recorded in 1Samuel 5:6-8, it tells of the great fortress and large walls(stone walls about 12 feet high) of the Jebusites that were impossible to overcome . It also tells of the water way or shaft that King David used to get into the city to conquer it. Archeology confirms this because the remains of this wall still exists in Jerusalem and the water shaft that David used still exists almost as it had in David's day! I saw a program on the history channel about this and it was fascinating! Archeology is uncovering and confirming the accuracy of the Bible every day!

In the field of science, what about the analysis of the human body? They say that the human body is composed of elements found in dust and dirt. This confirms God's account that the first man, Adam was formed from the dust of the earth. What about the laws of procreation? That a species cannot breed or reproduce unless they reproduce according to their own kind, like God told the animals of creation in Genesis? When an animal reaches the limit of it's own kind the resulting offspring is sterile. What about the fact that God told us in Isaiah 40:22 that the earth is a shaped like a circle? This was before anyone knew what the earth was shaped like! We knew, because God told us! Science is confirming the factual evidence of the Bible every day! All we have to do is open our eyes!

The flooding Noah thought was God was actually an increase in yearly flooding due to glacial melt at the end of the Ice Age.

If you look at archaeology and actual science, most of the stories have an alternate explanation.

Archaeologists have unearthed many ancient cities which had exactly the same wicked practices and judgment as the Bible describes.
Every ancient culture throughout the world has a story about "The Flood".
It's all in the history books; facts, not fiction.

No.

You'll likely get people telling you Noah's Ark has been found, which is nothing but speculation, or that the ruins of Sodom and Gomorrah had been discovered. Two cities have been found that may be them, but no one has proven they are!

Mary having a child whlie she was still a virgin. These days doctors can place the sperm in the egg without the woman needing to have sex. That brings to mind God was a scientist.
