Tithe: You'd have to pay a share of the rent and bring chips.
Talk about: Foosball shots.
Do: Play foosball, drink beer, and eat nachos. Communion beer and nachos.
Join: They'd just show up.
It's very similar to a neighborhood bar, but since it's BYOB, it could be open past 2:00 AM. Also, I think it could perhaps get some faith-based funding.

There are atheist groups around the country that hold meetings... i guess that's the closest thing to "church" as you will get. Like minded people meeting to converse, play games, listen to lectures, etc.
Instead of tithes it's membership fees, there is no sacrament, just good eats. "Missionary" work would be done as it is by some groups now, via outreach programs, media (like ACA's TV show and podcasts.) There would be no indoctrination since there is no doctrine.

It would be the best scientific research labs (for studying all sciences) ever envisioned. The library at Alexandria would have never been destroyed by the religious types of the day and it's works only would have been added to. My church would be a utopia of knowledge...attended by those un afraid to test that knowledge and accept facts and the fact that we are still learning about everything...and yes, wine would be included..just don't spill it on the research....

It is called standing at the top of a ski run with the sun just peaking over a far mountain. The sky is a deep cloudless azure. The morning air is crisp and still. Twenty inches of downy power has fallen overnight and I'm the only one there.
The silence is so loud you can hear it.

It would be like Canyon Ranch.
a resort setting, healthy living, education, spirituality without religion, spa, fitness, luxury, activities, etc.
Of course- the tithings are a bit pricey... but you get what you pay for.

I don't believe in Organized Athei-ism. What if I didn't feel like going to the meeting or whatever? Would they eventually "mark" me as not being a "good" Atheist?

"church" is for people who share a common delusion to gather and worship mythological, non-existent, made-up gods.
Atheists have no such delusions -- and so have no need of "church." We don't need to gather together to reinforce a shared delusion through social interaction and peer pressure...
Peace.

No, no, no, no, and NO!
Man made religion is not about God, it's profit and control.
Sorry, count me out of the fantasy.
