Take a look at the geneologies at the beginning of the Gospels of Matthew and Luke-- they describe Jesus' human ancestry as within the context of the history of Israel. Further, Jesus is born of a Jewish mother, which according to the Law of Moses, imparts the identity as an Israelite.

If we are to go by the New Testament, Jesus' mother, Mary, was Jewish, so Jesus was Jewish. We don't know who Jesus' biological father was, so we can't say what tribe he was in.

Well you can trace his family tree in the Bible. He was Jewish here on earth and a Rabbi. We dont know much of His early life before His ministry but, He wanted us to know more of what He did and has done for us. So we can live with Him for all eternity. Peace out...........
