I'm interested in getting a tattoo on the left side of my body, in the waist area, and below the arm. Possibly one that wraps round from front to back, but i'm not sure. the point is does anyone know any good websites with designs & advice or do you have advice of your own?

somebody - Oops, should have been more specific. I mean more below the ribcage, in the stomach area. Sort of like Freddy Ljungberg's.

Get a meaningful tattoo that matters to you. If you aren't sure where to start do some soul searching and take your time to figure it out. If you can't draw, doodle what you can and find a skilled custom tattoo artist who can work with you to make the perfect design. If you want a really awesome tattoo, do that and don't price shop when you get it done. Quality is key.

what kind of advice are you looking for exactly? i don't know of any websites specifically dedicated to ribcage tattoos. they are generally thought of as being more painful to get than most. there would be no specical care for their healing. as for a design or what to get in general, if you don't know then don't go get one on a whim. the best thing you can do is go to a custom tattoo artist and have them create a tattoo for you. give them your ideas and let them work it out into a tattoo.

bmeink.com is amazing. People post their personal experiances with getting tattoo's on there, and there are all sorts of gallerys with flash art and pictures of tattoos people got on there. Very orginized.
