Anyone recommend a Bourbon that tastes like Makers Mark, but is cheaper?

I love Makers Mark Bourbon, however I live in the UK and it is a very expensive import. Is there anything cheaper on the market that tastes similar?

go for a good canadian whiskey they go down nice and smooth and mix well plus no nasty hangover (well not so bad ) I like canadian mist and canadian hardwood--this is the el cheapo version ion my neck of the woods! Have a glass over ice with some pork pie!!

Other Bourbons that are good: Basil Haydens, Bulleit, Bakers, Knob Creek are roughly the same price but may vary.
Jim Beam Black (8 yrs aged) is less expensive and very good. Even good old Jim Beam KSBW (Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey) has that Bourbon taste you will enjoy as it is a real Bourbon. Real Bourbon is made from at least 51% corn and aged at least two years in new charred oak barrels. (the barrels are used only once! hence the expense. the use barrel are sold to distillers of: straight whiskey (Jack Daniels, etc.) Canadian Whiskey (Crown Royal,) Blended Whiskey, Scotch Whiskey, Irish Whiskey....even Tequila, Cognac, and Brandy.
No other whiskey will taste like Boubon. Try Jim Beam, I think it will make a good substitute, particularly if you mix. Gotta agree, though, Makers Mark is great, sometimes it is okay to splurge, you are worth it!

You might try Old Charter 10 year old, but it is going to be not much cheaper. Better to drink the good stuff when you can afford it, and do without when you can't than to drink mediocre Bourbon. Quality matters.

the sleek whiskeys are crown royal, yet 40 creek is yet another type it is sturdy. and Canadian mist is somewhat great mushy whiskey it is priced especially sturdy. drink in charge and do notpersistent. there is this form of think of as alchole poison. (eating to lots, physique can no longer soak up all of the alchole) be carfull.
