I have a Durabrand freeview set top box, which has been working fine since I bought it, but has stopped working today. When I get the info up for each channel, it has a picture of a little key which indicates the channel is locked. All of my channels are not working.

Any suggestions?

I have rebooted it and checked the connections are all correct and in properly.

jo coud be right a simple unplug wait a few minutes and power back up could be the problem.
however what you are describing sounds more like you have activated a child lock on the digi box. so find your manual, and see what the default code is for the child lock or if you changed codes then you need to find the code you set yourself.
I do not have that brand box so i'm only guessing here at your problem and offering a solution. failing that contact www.asda.co.uk or .com walmart whom ever (durabrand is allegedly made for asda/walmart stores ( i have a durabrand device).

good luck in getting your problem resolved.

all the above are what you have done without much luck......

eithier you freeview box has been hit by a surge, and it didn't like it. Or it may need retuning, try retuning....if no luck then save your time and effort and take it back to the shop and get a new one.

Hope this helps wg

although you have rebooted it hae you unplugged it at the wall? i know it sounds mad but unplug it at the wall socket for 5 minutes and then plug it in again and hopefully it will reset its self, that happened to my mum and we tried about 10 times to retune it and nothing unplugged it at the wall, plugged it back in left it in standby for 30 seconds and it worked strange but true and my mums friends worked like that too

It's Durabrand. It was cheap.
It has reached the end of its useful life.
Sorry, but "Buy cheap, buy twice" is very true...
