I say unto you, as your God, that the living, the greatest part of you is your spirit, your soul. It will never die. And you retain, My children, all knowledge in intellect. You do not lose your perception. You have full knowledge across the veil of what you will have gained or lost. Your emotions, My children, are retained, I say unto you. And you will realize the greatest depth of suffering imaginable if you do not prepare for your eternal reward in Heaven." - Jesus, November 22, 1976

Generally Over the veil means that someone has passed on (died)... but every time I hear (or read) that phrase, I think of Harry Potter, talking about Sirius Black... lol

Wish you had given a context or scripture or something....

But most common use of a 'veil" in the Bible refers to when Moses received the 10 Commandments. When he returned from the mountain his face was aglow with the glory of God. People found it difficult to look at him. So he covered his face with a veil.

So often in "Christianese", to say that something is "under the veil" means that it is covered or hidden.

Hope that is what you were referring to...

The "veil" is what was put over our memory when we were born so we couldn't remember our premortal exsistence with God in Heaven, so we could learn from our time here. Once we die we will cross back over that veil & remember everything.
