If Christians truly believe, why are so many of their arguments based on simple and obvious deception?

It's just a Theory! is a campaign based on manipulating the misuse of the word by the general population. Intentional deception. Albert Einstein developed a Theory called the General Theory of Relativity. When you say you have a Theory all you really have is a substandard education.

Pascal's Wager. Posted on these boards daily. Most Atheists, Agnostics and even some well educated Christians understand the flaw inherent in the argument, but still it is used by unscrupulous Pastors and Priests in their recruitment lectures.

There is more proof of the existence of Jesus than of anyone who ever lived. Ridiculous and provably untrue, but taken at face value by simple people. Julius Caesar posed for commissioned statues, wrote books and had children. Jesus did none of the above. He had followers, but so did Apollo, Heracles and Neptune.

Josephus did not witness the Crucifixion.

there's a ways too many stuff that argue adversarial to theism, no longer to instruct Christianity. The Bible itself is an exceedingly good device for atheism. We only opt to concentration on some issues right here and there to instruct that a million) it became no longer divinely inspired and 2) lots of the claims are fairly no longer conceivable and takes an outstanding little bit of psychological dishonesty to have self assurance. the finished lack of data for any deity is the simplest argument. there is only no reason to have self assurance this nonsense. might want to Christians be ideal? constructive - i imagine that's astronomically not likely in my concepts. yet I admit that's conceivable. might want to there be a "author" of a few style? constructive. there is only no data. i'm open to the prospect. that's only that, at this second in time, there is only no reason to have self assurance them. there would nicely be interior the destiny (even with the reality that it style of feels the more suitable we pass the more suitable we rule it out) - yet no longer now.

There is a wealth of non-religious historical information about the life of Jesus.

Jesus gave salvation to the whole world that accepts him, he is the very covenant between God and all people of the earth. I'll take that over Caesar's having children and statues, and even writing books......By the way, have you ever seen a crucifix?

The Bible itself seems to condemn those who argue dishonestly on God's behalf. (It's in the Book of Job.) Of course, some Christians honestly don't know logic, but then maybe they shouldn't be the ones arguing...

Christian faith----true Christian faith, that is----is based upon belief in the complete accuracy of the word of God. It is not based upon half-baked theories of men daydreaming of grandeur and riches (at least it is not supposed to be).

there is over 24000 artifacts and discoveries found to not only support the Bible and its Facts; but to support Jesus being real and more than a mere man....and these findings are aside from the biblical finds...these are seperate from the bible teaches..

God is real....and He walked this earth 2000 years ago as Jesus Christ to save us from our sins.
