There are only a few ways that have worked for me.
Live the life of Jesus yourself.
Be kind, forgiving, helping, and accept others without gossiping.
Pray for the kids that don't have direction or family ties.
My belief because of the lack of family; Parents are the ones slipping and messing up the kids.
I believe if Jesus was walking in the 21st century he would hug anyone in need and any faith, any race would not be excluded from his help and love.
So with that parents and singles should follow that example and hug their kids, friends and anyone in need of understanding and acceptance.
Jesus expects us to be the walking light of himself and act like it.
So the answer is; believe, act it, and pray for the children because, Jesus won over rebellion and everyone will eventually turn to him as King and Lord of all.
Evil will always breed evil and hurt but has lost the battle because of the cross that Jesus embraced.
As humans we are sometimes rebellious but sometime in our life we may turn to Jesus. Some people do it as a teen, some as a young adult, some wait until they have kids and others find Jesus when they are distressed, old or dying.
Do your best to be the helper to all today that are standing in need before you. Let Jesus do his Spiritual Blessing to the others and they will make their informed choice to follow Him or not.

Young people follow by example in many cases. If we are living a double life then these youngsters won't respect us. Who will listen to someone they can't respect. I teach Youth Evangelism, Good Sex, and Relationship courses to young people and one thing I have found that works is relationship. They must be able to relate to you as a person and a youth leader. We are called in Matthew 28 to take God's message to the world. In Proverbs we are told in the 22:6 to train up a child in the way he should go and when he is old he will not depart from it. We need to lead by living what we are conveying to our young. The bible says we are known by the fruits of our lives. Are you bearing good fruit? Be loving and caring and that shows young people you really care about them.

Why don't we just let the kids live their lives and let them make thier own spiritual choices if they feel responsible enough to make that decision? You *CAN* teach children good behavior without pressing forms of religion on them. I think the best way to prevent your kids from rebelling against adults is to give them some responsibilty without shoving your own beliefs down their throats. Show them you trust their choices. I don't think telling some teenagers that there is a god is going to change much. Teenagers rebelling is nothing new, it's part of growing up.

don't be positioned off by ability of scoffers. there are incredibly some people available who might truly go with to chat approximately and learn greater related to the Gospel. Jesus commanded us to do exactly that and you're obeying his command. at first, you will possibly be able to desire to correctly known precisely what the Gospel is. examine the Bible to be certain you have the wonderful Gospel by using fact Paul in Galatians suggested in financial disaster a million verses 8 to 11 spoke that Christ's Gospel is the only to have self belief and not any tale that men ought to push for their very own very own benefit.

The youths are not only rebellious but are also getting cleverer. They ask too many questions and according to my Christian friends, they are told Not to ask too many questions. Why ? Because the answers are not fulfilling and are not satisfactory. Christianity is slowly going down and Islam is slowly going up. With so much of adversities happening through terrorism and suicide bombing, still Islam is climbing Up ? Thought for the Day my friend !

I am a youth! I don't honestly know. The biggest thing would be to get the youths who do know out there, and sharing, because they are the gateway to the truth, their friends will respect them the most. I encourage you to become a youth leader (if you aren't already) and to share to good news as best you can. It is so important!

First of all we've got to get back on our knees and in the Word of God again so that we are equipped to do the job. Then God will let us know how He wants to reach this generation through us.
I'm speaking to those of us who once layed at the alter in travail for the world, and knew the Word Of God with a passion.

By setting a good example for them and by teaching them if they will listen. My 4 year old knows more about God and Jesus than I knew when I was 18. I have taught her from birth to follow God. We have to find ways to teach them.

There is no way that this can happen, People (including myself) care about clothes, cars, personal possesions.. etc.. not the teachings of the bible. Shame i suppose, but it's the truth. Society is getting worse, and worse. Look at 'Muslim countries' they believe in the teachings of Allah- and overall, crime is low, etc, etc.. but who would want to live a life like that? Best idea is to encourage further education, and teach 'young people' about gun crime, sex, drugs, health and so on.

How about you let them find their own ways in life?
Forcing something on a kid is only going to make them rebel even more.
Jesus isn't for everyone... nor is religion. That's the problem with christianity..... They've gotta sell themselves to people to get their heavenly commissions in the afterlife. What % of each convert do YOU get?
