John 3:16,17
For God so loved the world that He gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should no perish but have everlasting life. Gos sent not His son into the world to condemn the world but that the world through him might be saved.

I love this scripture because it is the first one I ever memorized and it says it all!

At the present moment, because I am experiencing opposition to my Christian beliefs, I am enjoying this one:

2 Timothy 3:12 - "ALL those desiring to live with godly devotion in association with Christ Jesus WILL be persecuted.

(Of course, I have favorite scriptures pertaining to each and every circumstance in life depending on whatever my current situations entail, so it is mighty hard to pick just one!)

jeremiah 29: 11-13
11 For I know the plans I have for you,” says the Lord. “They are plans for good and not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. 12 In those days when you pray, I will listen. 13 If you look for me wholeheartedly, you will find me. 14 I will be found by you,” says the Lord."

Isaiah 53: 4-6
4 Yet it was our weaknesses he carried;
it was our sorrows[a] that weighed him down.
And we thought his troubles were a punishment from God,
a punishment for his own sins!
5 But he was pierced for our rebellion,
crushed for our sins.
He was beaten so we could be whole.
He was whipped so we could be healed.
6 All of us, like sheep, have strayed away.
We have left God’s paths to follow our own.
Yet the Lord laid on him
the sins of us all.

Revelation 21:4: And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.

I love this verse as it embodies everything I hope for and want, and its just wonderful to know that God wants it too, and is going to sort it out.

It's a coupla verses, but I like the following, in which god commands his people to kill those of other faiths.

And you thought the Koran had the monopoly on religious intolerance! No, Sir!

17:2 If there be found among you, within any of thy gates which the LORD thy God giveth thee, man or woman, that hath wrought wickedness in the sight of the LORD thy God, in transgressing his covenant, (17:2-7)
Kill everyone who has religious beliefs that are different from your own.
What the Bible says about stoning
Biblical Justice: Everybody must get stoned
17:3 And hath gone and served other gods, and worshipped them, either the sun, or moon, or any of the host of heaven, which I have not commanded;
17:4 And it be told thee, and thou hast heard of it, and enquired diligently, and, behold, it be true, and the thing certain, that such abomination is wrought in Israel:
17:5 Then shalt thou bring forth that man or that woman, which have committed that wicked thing, unto thy gates, even that man or that woman, and shalt stone them with stones, till they die.
17:6 At the mouth of two witnesses, or three witnesses, shall he that is worthy of death be put to death; but at the mouth of one witness he shall not be put to death.
17:7 The hands of the witnesses shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterward the hands of all the people. So thou shalt put the evil away from among you.

Romans 8:1
There is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus.

No mater what I or others may feel I need to do for God, when I place myself in the hands of the one who had the nails in his for me, I know that I am accepted.

(Ecclesiastes 12:13-14) Let us hear the conclusion of the whole matter: Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man.
(Ecc 12:14) For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil.

NO ONE GETS AWAY WITH = ANYTHING, = = even if they think they DID!
