The accolades and blame are all mine, there is no reason to blame God for the decisions that I have made. To do so is a cop out of the worst kind.

Both. God has a plan for me. God causes certain opportunities to cross my path. I have the choice to accept those opportunities or reject any one of them that I choose. God will not force me to do anything. the path to heaven is a straight and narrow one, and all of us get off that path by our own choosing. Temptation is a detour from the righteous way of God. God will test us, but he will never tempt us. God will never through sin at our feet---that is the work of the devil. We have the power to step over sin and keep walking that narrow path or we can stop look at that sin, pick it up and run into the forest of errors and play with it. The more we choose to sin, the longer we stay away from the true path that God has chosen for us. The Bible teaches us how to stay on the righteous path. when people ignore God's word then they play with the folly of the devil. Be a fool too long and a person will end up with a fool's reward, which is eternity in hell.

A mixture of both. I believe Allah (SWT) has all ready decreed something for us (never know what) and some decisions we make will either speed us towards or slow down from our stature in life. This helps us be humble and grateful for what we do get.

I chose my path before I was born, but the path was created from my choices in life. I am that I am.
