Nope. If you look at earth life is so varied and resilient I would not be surprised to find evidence for it on Mars. Look at thermophiles some of them need temperatures as high at 105 degrees C to live. Nature is so stinking cool.

No, because NATURE is life and death it's self, and it only proves that the bible is false. From gensus, god created the earth, and created life on earth, (nothing else was stated of other planets) and if look back of the actual history, the bible- was changed to include the stars, planets and everything in the universe, or you could look at the real old testament and you could see how many modifications were made from 2000 years ago. If they decide to make another modification in the bible to include other life, or intelligent life on other planets, it is just move proof that the bible is false and it is only a fairytale book.

No change in my views. It's silly to assume we're the only life in the universe, but I don't see any reason to change my religious views for it. If we find Martians, we find Martians. If we don't, we don't. All it would prove is that there is/is not life on Mars, it has no impact on religion.

God said He created mankind on earth, He didn't say He did so on Mars.

They will NOT find life on another planet (or at least not without stretching the truth, anyways).

Just 'cause there is a cave doesn't mean there is life.

No.
Im not arrogant enough to belive in all the stars and all the systems in this universe that we are the only containing life. However, I am Studying medicine at the moment, and i can tell you now, the evolution is simply impossable! (on a macro scale, only micro is posable through natural selection ect)

So, if not from evolution, how else can i believe we got here?

LOL so which you mean that suitable now you're worshiping an ALIEN? HAHA! Dude, it may in simple terms show that there is life someplace else too...extra hoorah for technological awareness and not faith. If the extraterrestrial beings believed that some very appropriate being created them, then you definately could could desire to guard your God against theirs. however the extraterrestrial beings heavily isn't as stupid as some persons :)

The real question would be would it change you veiws on religion if these Martians had recorded observations of early human culture and the creation of gods.

If as Richard C. Hoagland suggests, there are cities(ruins) on Mars it wouldn't affect me a bit(By the way he has a cool web site"enterprisemission.com")God never said we are the only ones around.Nor does the Bible teach that.

Not a bit. =) But, in the case of Christianity, would that mean Jesus would have to die there too in order to save the dead martians? Or does the sacrifice he did on earth cover them too?

I am a Catholic and firm believer in God. I also believe in life on other planets. God created the Universe and all that is in it. Since that is the case, why wouldn't He create life elsewhere? Why are we so special as to be the only planet in the universe to sustain life?
