does anyone have a homemade breadcrumbs recipe? I have heard you can use bread, oil and seasonings, does anyone have a good recipe?

Homemade Seasoned Breadcrumbs:

24 servings
2 cups

1 French bread or Italian bread, day old, loaf, cubed
1/2 teaspoon salt
3/4 teaspoon parsley flakes
3/4 teaspoon oregano
3/4 teaspoon dried basil
1/4 teaspoon dried rosemary
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
1/4 teaspoon onion powder
1/4 teaspoon sugar
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)

1. If bread is soft place in a warm oven to dry out or slightly toast it then cool.
2. Process the bread in a food processor till fine. Add rest of ingredients and process till combined. Store in ziplock storage bags. Can be frozen for long time storage.

I make bread crumbs now and then... I just put some old bread... stale but not moldy ... into a small food processor and buzz it till they are crumbs.. then shake in some SeasonAll, salt, pepper, etc.. depending on what you want to use the crumbs for.

Pop slices of bread into the oven. Once its hard, just crush it and VOILA! breadcrumbs.

I use regular bread and I toast it and then butter the bread and cut into pieces it works great mmmm
