I have Remington, Weatherby Vanguard, Steyr Mannlicher, Ruger, Winchester, Browning and FAL. I hadn't really thought about it as each serves its purpose well but now that you asked, I do own four Remingtons. That's a Model 700, two 673 Guide rifles, and a Remington 870 .12 gauge pump. Hmmm. I guess that makes Remington my favorite brand of hunting rifle.

Depends on the application. I have always been a fan of Remington. Cooper makes an excellent gun if you are OK with a single shot rifle. Kimber has also been a good gun for me in the past. And of course Sako has found a way to combine beauty and accuracy like no other.

Honestly? Savage 110/111 models. What's not to like? The price is low enough for just about anyone to own one and the accuracy just can't be beat. Only suggestion I'd make, right out of the box, replace the scope with something better than a Simmons.

Depends.
My favorite rimfire is the Winchester 63.
Favorite lever actions are Winchesters, too: 71 and 92.
Single-shot, Ruger.
Small-bore bolt action, Remington 700.
Medium and large-bores, I've been toying with CZ, but the jury's still out.
Doubles are still in the dreaming stage.

Brand: Weatherby
Model: Lazermark
Caliber: 257 Weatherby Mag

Reason:

Its a piece of art work. Best rifle I ever owned. Craftsmanship is like none other, and you know it when you shoot it.
