I'm not sure anymore but a lot of people I know that bought stuff like that on the 'street' seemed to sometimes pay about $2 or $3 per pill. I'm talking about within the last 5 years or so. I also live in NYC. I did know someone who was getting full bottles of Oxycontin for $20 because she had a 'connection' though. Honestly, I was about to buy the bottle of Oxycontin from her because I had a few broken teeth, no insurance and no other pain killer was working. I'm glad I didn't end up buying those pills because I KNOW I would have abused them. I scraped up some money and had the teeth pulled instead.
