God will forgive them if they turn from that sin and turn it all over to God... asking forgiveness and repenting of that sin.... and change to be what God wants for them rather than satisfying their own flesh.

Yes, He is full of compassion, grace, love and is willing to forgive. Now, that person however who cheated must reconcile to their spouse it will be hard because trust might have gone out the window. That individual must forgive themselves, and ask God for forgiveness (I John 1:9 If we confess our sins He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and cleanse us from ALL unrighteousness. Yes, God will even forgive Charles Manson and Jeffry Dahmer, as long as they accept Him and beg Jesus for forgiveness. Compared to corrupting others to commit murder or killing and eating little children, cheating on your spouse really isn't much, is it?

At least... that's if you believe such things. As an agnostic, I would recommend that the forgiveness you ought to be seeking is that of your spouse... and good luck with that!

Yeah indeed, this is the paradox that man cannot handle that God is so merciful unlike us for we look for revenge and satisfaction for hurt done to us, an eye for an eye and all that.
God will forgive anyone their great sins if they are truly sorry and prepared to turn away from them,He will never forgive that sin against the Holy Spirit though.

The only sin i know of is unforgivable is suicide, cause you committed self murder. cheating on your spouse is really telling lies and if you seek forgiveness with a honest heart he forgives and then ask your spouse to forgive but you don't keep on cheating after.

God will forgive any sin if asked by one who truly believes in Christ. However, He also said "Go, and sin no more." He meant, learn from this and do not repeat the that mistake again. Also, the fact that he does forgive is not a license to go around purposely sinning and expecting it to be OK.

Yes He will. The one who has cheated must repent to the spouse and to G-d. He also must repent and forgive himself...we are our own harshest judges. G-d knows that we all make mistakes, but He still loves us and always will give another chance to do the right thing.
