There is nothing wrong with changing your diet or going vegetarian or vegan at any time in your life. Being in your mid-20s might be the best time because your body is a lot more resilient.
If you aren't feeling well, it could be your body going through some de-tox and sudden changes in diet tend to make your stomach a little nervous (more gas than before, and other problems in your digestion). But these are short problems that go away after your body gets used to the change in diet.
Check out www.vegan.org, or do a search for vegan or vegetarian diets. That should give you some good information and lots of recipes too. Good luck with your food choices!

The biggest thing that non-vegs diet has more than the veg diet (good thing that is), is protien. So if you include good amount of veggie protien - you are good.
There are a couple vitamins and omega-3s in non-veg food that is difficult for veggies to get - but, a good multi should take care of that.

I left eating non veg 4-5 yrs back. Before that I was a strict non vegetarian. Believe me its not easy to quit non veg completely and not all people who try are able to do that. You have done that so stick to it. Stay physically active, eat lots of vegetables ansd salads. Also have pulses and fruits. that way your health will not deteriorate. One more thing have adequate carbohydrates: they are very important for energy. In winters have dry fruits.

If you are comforable with the new vegetarian diet, there is nothing wrong with that. Eat a balanced diet with adequate quantities of protien, carbs and fats with all the vitamins included. The traditional Indian thali is a great example of a balanced meal.

Though I am a nonveg I believe veg. diet is better than nonveg diet.It is good for the mind.If you take meat and fish you take
lot of toxins in your body which is not good for health.Through fish
you take lot of mercury in your body. You should curb your
passion for exotic food and should take simple food. You
should take lot of boiled vegetables and fruits. If you are short
of proteins you can take some eggs and more milk.

there is nothing wrong by eating vegetarian food only at this age. Rather it is better for your life. But be sure to eat a balanced diet. Take plenty of vegetables and greens and reduce taking rice. in addition, fruits and fruit juices should be included daily. right?

if I understand right, you are a vegetarian? just make sure you get enough protein in your diet. you don't have to eat meat or animal products to get protein. soy has a lot of protein as do grains, legumes, nuts, and seeds.
