There are all kinds of cheap religious degrees available on the internet. Get a cheap Dr of Divinity. Looks impressive to the gullible hanging on the wall. Focus on some part of the bible, sorry snake handling and ingesting poison has already been taken. The talking donkey cult would be a good place to start. A name for your church is good and for no charge here is the best one I came up with. (I live in the south by the way) I saw a church of God which says it all - taken Then I saw Church of Christ. How about this, Christ's Church of God! leave in the exclamation point. Get some time on your local community cable channel and off you go!

You need to get a building or a tent & some ground & start one, Many denomination churches preachers carries Preacher licence, But if God truly Calls a person, then He don't need a licence, I know many God called ministers that don't have a licence, & yet the states Recognize them as Ministers. My pastor don't have a licence, & our church is listed as a tax free church, as denominations are, & my pastor is legally able to perform marriages, funerals, & so on, Hospital visits, You can carry a pice of paper saying that you are a minister, But if your life don't measure up to it, then even our government can see that you are not a true minister. Yet when they see a minister that don't carry a licence, & see their life, then they know he is truly a minister, Our laws Rather Federal or state recognizes my pastor as a minister & a tax exempt church.

I should be easy, where I live they pop up all over. Put an ad in the local pennysaver inviting Christians to worship , perhaps at your home for a bit and see what happens. You might want to ad why you are doing this and what your beleives are.

You probably need to get your state government involved in that process... if you want to build an actual building.

A church can be started in your own home though.

Oh great. One more church to add to the more than 33,000 different denominations that already exist. Do you mean to say that out of all those 33,000 you can't find one that you agree with?

I'm in the process of doing this as we speak....

Start with a weekly bible study. As it grows, move it into a preaching ministry. You don't really need a license to do this but....I got one anyway (it came with the Christian studies degree)

Find a couple of followers who you can brain wash easily and let them start spreading the word.

Learn a few Bible verses and convince some uninformed and unsuspecting suckers to follow you. As the saying goes: "Those who don't know--teach."
