I don't know, but it sounds like things worked out for everyone.
My great-great-grandmother said dreams like that are God "tapping us on the shoulder," and sometimes I see what she means.

God's will is pretty much whatever God pleases. That said, it's unreliable and unpredictable.
On the other hand, dreams are our own thoughts - sometimes about our future. Maybe you were dreaming about a possible future that you might like? What's fascinating about them is that they can become self-fulfilling prophecies. For example, this morning I dreamed about continuing a conversation with a gymnast I saw last weekend... not really sure where it was going though... Is there really any point in contacting her? I don't know. I do know that I was just thinking about a conversation from the weekend... Oh, no, wait. I had this strong feeling of abandonment too. Nice, what does that tell me?
Anyhow, dreams can be pretty random and misleading too. It's more important to do what is right. Often I hear that is the true calling of God... at least when people aren't saying it's only about running about like a chicken with it's head cut off trying to convert people... Only if you're a bad example, conversion doesn't work very well.
Anyway, God doesn't really intend much specific the last time I looked.

not likely that GOD intended for you to get divorced. i suppose its possible but not likely . God is smart we are all stupid and keep breaking his very basic simple easy to follow rules and teachings. God however manages to somehow make some good come even from our stupid actions and thoughts.
God may well have used your failed marriage as a chance for you to help this child. i don't really know what GODS will is in this matter but as long as what you seek is to please GOD and follow his teachings then there is a good chance your doing the right stuff and that means doing what he wants.

I truly that God has spoken to you. Dreams is one of the ways that He talks to us. However, I believe this might only be a portion of His will. Keep your heart open to Him, and He may reveal more as time goes on.
I have had similar experiences as well - only I seem to have the ability to foresee minor events just hours before they happen. I am not psychic; I believe it is a gift from God.

one thing for sure, God always give the best for His children. U are not a robot, and God never treat us like a robot. we have our choises in live, and everything that happened in our life is because we chose to and in the way if we need Him, then He will give us the best way, if u let Him help u, of course.

To me ....I say no.
You are simply living your life.
This is how it turned out ....so far.
God's will is not about what He does for you, but what you do for Him.
