When there was no life, no planets, no anything, what was there? A black empty space? What was there before the black empty space? Can you really contemplate the true meaning of "nothing"? A "big bang" theory? What is that? What existed before this bang and how did that come into existence?

It is not as difficult to comprehend as it seems.

The big bang was a thought form. It still is.

This is more easily understandable if one considers the actual scale of the components of an atom. If one takes into account the fact that the neutrons, protons and electrons of an atom actually have huge spaces between them it becomes clear that the atoms that make up seemingly solid objects are made up of 99+ percent empty space.

This alone does not seem too important till you add the idea that the atoms that make up seemingly solid objects are more of a loose conglomeration that share a similar attraction but never really touch each other.

At first glance this does not really seem relevant, but closer analysis reveals that this adds a tremendous amount of empty space to solid objects that are already made up of atoms that are 99 percent space. When so-called solid objects are seen in this light it becomes apparent that they can in no way be the seemingly solid objects they appear to be.

We ourselves are not exceptions to this phenomenon.

These seemingly solid objects are more like ghostly images that we interpret as solid objects based on our perceptual conclusions.

From this we must conclude that Perception is some sort of a trick that helps us to take these ghostly images and turn them into a world we can associate and interact with. This clever device seems to be a creation of our intellect that enables us to interact with each other in what appears to be a three dimensional reality.

I hope that helps to answered your question.

Love and blessings Don

There's this interesting story I read on wikipedia following up on agnosticism:

There once was a farmer working in a field that was shot by a poisoned arrow. The village doctor was called and he was able to figure out what poison it was and find an antidote amongst his medicines. However, the farmer said, "before you give me that antidote, I want to know who shot me with that arrow, where they got the bow to shoot the arrow, what the shooter's occupation is, where they came from, and why they shot me!" The doctor looked at the farmer and said, "I'm a doctor, not a magician. Do want to live or what?"

I HATE the question of creation vs. the Big Bang because it is a pointless question. Both answers fail to evade a circular problem of origin: where did the matter come from for the Big Bang? Where did God come from? Everything has a maker and God is perfect, so (just like a watch has a watch-maker) there must be a God-maker! Or some other pointless nonsense like that. Right now , it doesn't make a difference who shot the arrow, where they got the bow, or what their occupation happens to be. In fact, it might NEVER matter if you know this answer or not - even if there is a God.

The fact that you want to harass someone with this question demonstrates that there is vitrius in your life, but instead of dealing with the real problems, you meddle with this???

In the Beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The EARTH WAS WITHOUT FORM, AND VOID: (but there)?
and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said "let there be light.
It was the spoken word that created these things - only from God the source of life. Think about it. Go to your nearest Elim Pentecostal Church and get answers or join an Alpha Group. He created me and knew my name before I was in my mothers womb, he created my inner being and weaved my there, God gives life, God made our blood, it can't be grown.

So by the breathed word - so watch what words you say your talking yourself into your future. All the mysteries will not be revealed until we meet our maker. An Elim Member.

Before the big bang, it is believed that two "membrains" in the 11th dimension collided to create the matter and physical laws of our universe. Look into the M theory.

Ah- the eternal question.
My dear God IS the very source of life
You will have to ask God to explain all that happened so long ago. I was not there to witness so my information is heresay
But yes He created me

You ask good questions.
Would you ask university exam questions to someone in Grade 4?
The answers exist, but you would not expect a Grade 4 student to have them, would you?
Your questions are 'university' level.
Mankind's fund of knowledge is comparable to Grade 4.
The answers are there, but we don't know them yet.

My parents created me, their parents created them, and the molecules that created everything come from the universe which is vast, unknown and endless (?) - your question can never really be truthfully answered because NO-ONE in the world, past or present really knows the answer - everything is pure speculation.
