Everything is removed by time. Lines of credit 7-years after last date of activity, inquiries, 2-years, bankruptcy's 10-years, collections & judgments 7-years after they are reported as paid.
The only other way to get something removed is if the information is incorrect. Then you must contact the credit bureaus and dispute these items. They have 30-days to prove that the information is true or they are required by law to remove them.

Depends on the circumstances. If it is a collection account that has been paid, it will still take 7 years to fall off of your report. If it's a collection that's not paid, you need to send proof of payment (or settlement) to the credit bureau in order to have the information updated. It will still take 7 years to fall off, however.
If it is a bankruptcy, it will stay on for 10 years. There's really no way around that.
If the account is closed, it will stay on for 7 years, regrdless if it ended on a good note or bad note.
Inquiries should fall off after two years.
In any case, you would need to contact whatever credit bureau is reporting the item to have it removed.
I hope that helps.
