Colonel Sanders Style Fried Chicken
2 pkg Good Seasons Italian Dressing Mix
3 tablespoons flour
2 tsp. salt
1/4 cup lemon juice
2 tblsp. butter melted
1 cup milk
1 large fryer cut up
1 1/2 cup pancake mix with 1 tsp paprika, 1/2 tsp sage, 1/4 tsp pepper
oil for frying

Make paste from 1 pkg Italian seasoning , flour, salt, lemon juice and butter. brush on chicken evenly. Place in bowl and refrigerate several hours. Dip chicken in milk,then pancake mix, then 2nd pkg of Italian seasoning mix coating well.Dust off excess. Lightly brown each side then place in pans single layer- do not crowd, pans should have oil on bottoms first. Spoon remaining milk on chicken, cover with foil, Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour. uncover and bake 10-15 minutes at 400 degrees to brown and crisp.

Baked Kentucky Fried Chicken Dried Coating Mixture
3 cups self-rising flour or Bisquick
1 tblsp Paprika
2 envelopes tomato Lipton Cup-of-Soup (dry)
2 pkg Good Seasons Italian dressing mix (dry)
1/4 tsp salt, McCormicks, Lawrey's or choice

Mix all dry ingredients well. Shake Chicken in dry mixture and place in greased baking dish. Dab melted butter on chicken. Bake at 350 degrees, basting occasionaly with water and oil mixed, This recipe makes about 1 quart of coating, may prefer to cut in half.

Sweetheart, that's a secret recipe, kept longer than Bush's baked bean recipe - and no talking dog to spill the beans! But y'can actually come pretty close by buying Banquet brand spicy chicken pieces and baking those in your oven at home. No, it won't be exactly eqjual to KFC - but then, ain't nobody done beat the Colonel's recipe in all these years, and they ain't likely to do it anytime soon.

first off you want to get blood from a road island red chicken
and then mix that with an eye of a newt, then get pickled pigs tounge and boil that for exactly 7minutes and 6.5 seconds
and put that in a HOBART deep fryer and cook and it will be GREAT!!!

either that or you can find the cernals 20 some secret spices...... or just buy some

I believe it's pressure cooker fried. I don't know how they do it, but the chicken is fried inside a pressure cooker. I saw it on TV ages ago. Maybe someone else can tell you how. Maybe you can experiment if you're handy with a pressure cooker.

have a wok full of oil.then heat the oil,until it is hot,then put the chicken in(u may slice them if u want).simple!but,the way u slice the chicken and quality of oil matters how delicious the chicken will be.

its a secret. even if u wrok at kfc u won;t know. cuz they already marinated in the factory or wherever.
trial and error. maybe u will get it !

I believe the colonel used a pressure type fryer, and secret recipe batter, and you don't.
