when your guy comes over and wants something and goes straight to your room and get ready. did you ever stay out of the room and not go in it at all?
I did and it was funny he got mad and left.
I told him no, and he don't take no for an answer, so he left me no choice but to do that.
want to thank all for answering my question

Bonnie - I like your style. You have certain beliefs and he need to follow them if he is to be around you. You go, girl!

Good for you that took guts to stand up for yourself. Whether it be a guy or a girl sometimes your just not in the mood. You could of had a bad day or tired or something and when we don't feel like doing something other people should respect that. Sometimes my husband thinks because he is in the mood now so am I no asking just assumes and I don't feel like it. And if he won't listen i just go to another room, yes he gets upset (no one likes to feel rejected) but he gets my point and he gets over it. Actions can be louder than words.

If your man can't take no for answer I say you need another man. The man should respect you. You are not a piece of meat for him to use whenever he pleases. Do not put up with that. You deserve so much better!

WAY TO GO GIRL! Nicely done. I don't know why guys expect us to do it when ever thay want to, and not care. Maybe if we all start doing that, they will get the message!

Sounds like he expects it. And if he doesn't take no for an answer, and gets mad b/c you're not in the mood--time for a new boyfriend!!

Yes I do that to my husband for a laugh, it's like they are expecting us to follow them in there and we're not mindreaders, we don't just react when they're ready. I like my man to work a bit harder for my company than that. I need some compliments and attention first.

He should respect you and a no means a no! Giving in is tentamount to you agreeing to his demand. You need to stick with your principle.
