how good will directx10 do if combined with geforce turbocache6020 with 128mb of its own memory?

will it slow down my pc and affect its speed and perfomance?i am having pentium4 with 512MB RAM.OS=windows XP sp2

DirectX 10 requires a DirectX 10 capable card, which that card is not. So it will have not affect on performance, in fact you can't even use it if you don't have a card capable of using it.
