My grandmother used to have night scented stocks in her garden and the smell from them was beautiful, not sure whether they would smell the same indoors but you could try some in pots around the room and you'd have the pleasure of watching them grow

I would use potted plants not fresh cuts from a flower shop. It seems that you would need several plants to fill an entire room, but a mini rose plant does give a stronger scent. you might go that way.

yes it is. Basil creates a great smell.

Other plants could be Daffies, Hyacinths, Tulips, etc, all which are flowering just now. Herbs are good for making nice smells and you can also eat them!

And don't listen to that idiot saying plants take oxugen out of a room. That's unbelievable anyone could be so stupid. Plants convert Co2 (carbon dioxide) INTO O2 (Oxygen) so they actually put more oxygen into the room. I can't believe anyone could be so stupid.

People rarely have plants in the bedroom for one particular reason. Some take oxygen out the room.
FOO(L)....Before you start throwing names around, you should do a little research, know what you're talking about. There ARE plants that sap the oxygen. If you feel the need to insult me, why not email me? No block on it, so talk to me direct....but I know you won't.

Just remember - you will only notice the smell when you come in from being outside. Once you are in the room for a while, you will stop to notice it.

Don't overlook herbs and fragrant plants as well as flowers.

Depends on what type of flowering plant you use. You will need to use flowers really, and they don't last, so you will run into the expense of constantly replacing them.
