Two days ago I woke up to four slashed tires. I knew exactly that my car had been confused with my neighbour's b/c his car had been vandalized twice withing 2 months a short while ago. Yesterday morning my doubts were confirmed because now my neighbor's tires were slashed and there was grafiti with racial slur (my neighbor is black), AND on my car. Whoever is doing this thinks that my car is my neighbor's daughter's car. Is there any way to let these thugs know that my car is not the one they think it is? Please advise! I have already paid $400 for my new tires. I'm afraid they'll do it again. I don't know how I can let them know that I'm not in any way related to that family. Thanks.

Put a sign in your front yard that says "Vandals, you are looking for the people next door", lol, and if you are white you could also put your picture on the sign also.

You Should get a camera and a gun. Tapes their asses in the act. You must be vigilant and sacrifice your personal time and energy to combat this kind of vandalism. Or hire a private investigator to keep watch. Do not confront thugs, just tape their activities.
