You would need the full version of Adobe Acrobat to be able to change that setting to allow copying. And you would also need the password the creator placed on the document to protect it. So, no, there is no practical way to get around copy protection in a PDF file.

PDF documents cannot be copied in the sense that you would not need to re-type, but you can copy the text and paste it as an image into a word document.
To do this press CTRL + A, which should highlight the document then CTRL + C, to copy then when in the word document press CTRL + V.
Hope this helps.
Alternatively if you cant copy it, arrange your windows so they are tiled, then you can see both screens at the same time and no longer need to keep switching.

If it is whole pages you want to use then print the document as a pdf selecting only the pages you require.
Full adobe acrobat or a pdf printer program (like pdf creater) will be required
