I have finally got me mum to let me have my wrist peirced, i am 14 and have my tragus, my scaffolding, my top right ear and my common holes pierced. I am getting a diamond which consists of 4 holes shaped as a diamond. I have looked on the internet and found answers but i would still like to know about peoples experiences.

I've never seen someone with their wrist pierced!! - sounds like it would look nice but it also sounds like you have enough holes in you already.

I think you're too young for this, but anyways- piercings heal...
I think the wrist piercing, like any surface piercing comes with great risk. Most specifically the fact the skin is so very thin there, could easily tear, and the veins are very close to the surface which if ruptured, could bleed terribly and wouldn't stop so you'd have to go to hospital.
In my experience, surface piercings tend to grow out quite quickly, can restrict movement, and get very easily infected. They look cool which is why people want them so much, but they're alot of hassle in my opinion, and don't last more than a couple of months.
Be very careful if you do proceed with this piercing- make sure the place is reputable who pierces you, knows what he's doing (although if he's going to pierce a 14 year olds wrists then he is obvious very irresponsible), and it's with sterile equipment

I think you are far to young to be venturing into surface piercings and the risks that go along with them. Generally you won't hear much about it either because you aren't looking in the right place, or because people didn't want to speak of bad experiences.
Check out bmezine.com for stories, experiences and articles in the dictionary about surface piercings. Do your research and find a VERY skilled piercer who can show you healed surface piercings that they have done. Keep in mind, even when done by an expert, they still can have problems.

okay so to me its sounds like you want this alot... and i think its kool that you have thought about something a lil bit different than the norm... iv had a corset piercing in my back which consists of 6staple bars which is what they use for most surface piercings... surface piercings can b a pain in the ***... they can grow out and migrate etc... but u prob have found that out... there is a liklihood you WILL get scarred... but iv had a surface cleavage piercing which scarred and the scar is very light now after like 6-8months... the more u catch it the more it is gona to be likly to reject. i think it will look funky and hey as long as you think about if you can deal with the scarring go ahead hunny!! i will b scarred all over the place but hey i really dont mind as i want my body to go to the grave having gone through a physical journey that body mod has helped with... make sure u choose a good piercing studio with friendly staff... try not to go anywhere where there is an attitude as if you have any probs u wana feel like you can go back for advice. hope this has helped

I have a surface piercing myself , and as mentioned by someone before me, they can be a right pain to handle.
It looks wonderful which is why i still have it you just have to be prepared to look after it so it doesnt become infected.
I have many friends who have had their wrists pierced, one specifically had it done before anyone else I knew, however because it is in such an accessible place it can easily be ripped out, just like his was.
He woke up and it had ripped out of his wrist due to getting it caught in his duvet.
It wasnt a pretty sight and he's scarred now.
However even thought ive just given a gruesome story, as long as your aware of the dangers and avoid them by being careful you could have apretty swuave piercing on your hands ;) litterally..

why would get your WRIST peiced? never seen one! if you get it i think it would probably hurt a LOT and bleed a LOT! good luck!
