Mainstream Christianity hinges on the belief that Jesus died and was resurrected... this belief alone is what they say is the only way to be saved (odd though, nowhere does Jesus himself say this, even when he's asked outright what it takes to be saved). The fringes of Christianity though, seem to delve deeper into their religion and take it a tad bit more seriously than that... though the death/resurrection is still part of the belief, they also believe you have to follow his teachings.
As a Pagan, I would say it's better to be the chinese man who never heard of him - then it wouldn't be so confusing with all the different denoms screaming "only we have the truth".

Depends whether you were asking Jesus yourself (now impossible, since he is two millenia past his SBD.... or if you're asking the average modern christian.
The two would disagree... at least in intent.
The modern christian would just babble some nonsense about giving yourself over to christ and something about there being no way to heaven but through him.... implying that ritualistic acceptance of J.C is on the cards.
I imagine Jesus himself would opt on the side of a life of good deeds...
That would of course be because the average christian has no respect for who Jesus was nor the life he led.... They just like to chant the name and glorify his death.

Christianity replaced into no longer meant to coach the training of Christ Yeshua. It has existed & developed very prosperously in it truly is real motive to establish & administration. i do no longer mean to sound harsh against Christianity, each faith has befallen this curse. there's a announcing I commonly use, 'tis greater ideal to be like Christ than like a Christian. For me this places each little thing lower back into ideal attitude. For His time, Christ Yeshua replaced into an intensive & a mystic. it truly is a lot too outlandish for the management of those that prefer to preserve the dying grip on the reigns of administration over the loads who go with Christianity as their faith. the ask your self & secret to that which replaced into the existence & teachings of this form of perfect grasp is that there is a lot we somewhat do no longer know by using fact the certainty has been so lost. And yet by using fact His message replaced into so basic and no distinctive than any grasp in the previous or on account that, it truly is often all around us and additionally interior. I dare say, the certainty (i.e. the dominion of Heaven) is interior. advantages

To accept Christ is to follow His teachings. You can say you accept Christ and then don't follow His teachings, but this would make you a liar.

It is not enough to say,"I accept Jesus Christ as my personal Lord and Savior," and then to go on sinning. Rather to be a true Christian you must love the Lord with all your heart and mind and strength and you must love your neighbor as yourself. To be a Christian you must always strive to live in a Christ like way.

1st Question depends on what kind of Christian you ask.
Chinese man will learn of Christ before he dies as everyone will be given the opportunity. Rituals are not my thing.

First of all Christ did command us to observe the Lord's Supper. Secondly i think i will keep listening to my priest. I doubt listening to you will bring me any closer to God. If you do not understand our rituals, do not practice them. But please understand you are in a very dangerous ground when you start telling God who He can speak to and who He can not. Who are we to put limitations on God?

if you just try to be good i think that you are following his teachings, we live in a world full of sin and all we can do is try, people who go to church regularly and then go out into the world and are judgmental and rude are not fooling anyone. they go to church for the "show"

More of the later. It starts with repenting of your sins, and surrendering control of your life to Jesus. You proceed with sanctification to have a life that conforms to Christ as you dedicate your life to pleasing God.
