You have rights as a Legal Immigrant, just as any other American citizen. It is not fair for anyone to be harrassed.
Illegals have rights too. More than Too often they have seemingly more rights than Legitimate Citizens! Those rights are as follows:
You are under arrest. You have the right to reamain silent, anything you say can be held against you in a court of law, you will be tried by a jury of your peers, if found guilty, you will be deported!

your question is very un-clear in its definition:
are you talking about immigrants who already just got their citizenships? immigrants who are waiting for their case to be approved? American citizens who's ancestors came here as immigrants? or are you talking about other foreigners who are in here with different, non-immigrant status. All the above have full or partial of the rights average American citizens have. But if you are talking about the illegal aliens, then they are enjoying all the rights(even more than all the legal aliens and citizens) that they are not supposed to have.
By the way, just a little bit of info for all, in my birth country, if anyone enters the country illegally and has the balls to demand and abuse the rights like the illegals here, they will be taken by the police before they put down their suit cases

If they are the Legal immigrants they should have the same rights as Americans. Illegals deserve nothing but swift deportation.

LEGAL immigrants have the same rights as any citizen. However, ILLEGAL ALIEN CRIMINALS have no rights!
If you are saying that being deported and not allowing you to work is harassment - that's legal and not harassment! If this "definition" of harassment is because you are a "foreigner" it is because you are an ILLEGAL ALIEN!
Illegal aliens are criminals because they are breaking the law. This is not a racist issue!!! I don't care if the illegal is from Canada, England, Ireland, China or Peru - if they are ILLEGAL they must leave YESTERDAY!!!!!

I am not sure what country you are talking about, but in the US the issue is whether you are here illegally, not whether you are a foreigner.

They have the RIGHT to enter a country legally- with a passport and a visa, just like I always had to do and just like every one else has to do.
Once they complete that requirement, they have the RIGHT to be treated just as everyone else is treated- subject to the restrictions which are written in their visas. Same rights and same restrictions as every one else is subject to.

i dont think being harrassed for being foreign is right but when immigrants suddenly have more rights than the citizens of the country they've come too and totally take the p**s out the system they deserve it

"Immigrants" are people who immigrated LEGALLY.
People who entered the country ILLEGALLY are not "immigrants".
People who entered the country ILLEGALLY are ILLEGAL ALIENS.
Since "immigrants" came here LEGALLY, they already have all the rights every LEGAL citizen has, and nobody is harrassing any LEGAL immigrants.
Illegal aliens are CRIMINALS, they have entered the country illegally, they are dishonest liars and theives, they are subject to arrest and deportation at any time.
Illegal aliens do not have the "right" to BE here.
Illegal aliens do not have the "right" to work here.
Illegal aliens have TWO "rights":
1) the right to be arrested
2) the right to be deported.
Those are the ONLY rights illegal aliens deserve for violating our laws.

If you don't like it go back to your own country and immigrate LEGALLY. Don't come back until you do.

Illegal Immigrants have no rights in the U.S. If they would follow the law and Immigrate to the U.S. the right way, then we can talk about rights.
