The best idea is to start a 529 plan right now. They have the most advantages for saving for college at your kids' ages. The older one's needs to be a little more conservative than the younger one's since he is closer to high school graduation than your daughter. I also recommend seeing if your state has any college savings plans availble, and this can be located by searching Google.com and Yahoo.com. Check out Upromise, Babymint and Tuition Rewards online saving programs. Free to join. Your state may sponsor a 529 (college savings program) that maybe tax deductible. A local parochial school where I live also offers a scrip program, where the funds can be used at any tuition based school and can be banked up to 25 years before disbursement. Good luck!

you can get a college plan for them. my parents bought a preneed plan for me and my sister when we were young so by college they didnt have anything to worry about.
