I have got stretchmarks and thin skin on my legs. Lately I have gained quite a few spider veins and damaged capillaries. My skin has also become quite sensitive. Any ideas how I can reduce the sensitivity as I am finding it quite painful some days

This situation needs to be evaluated by a dr to find out what could be causing this tenderness (which can be caused by thinning skin).

In the mean time ask your dr if it's ok to try a cool bath to see if that helps ease some of the sensitivity of your skin.

Bring it up at your next MD appointment note to yourself when was your last physical!

Do not use mineral oil based products they do more harm then good actually.

Try pure and natural things - and stick to a good regime.
Have you exfoliated with a lufa (or a sea salt shower scrub) perhaps getting cell turn over and soothing at the same time??

Arbonne makes really wonderful safe products.

My girlfried gets the same sort of thing. There is product in your local chemist or Boots called Bio Oil which works a treat. It also works on spots and other skin deficiencies.
