an earlier date, but unfortunatelly my upgraded media player hasn't returned to its previous version (that was my aim of system restoration). Why has it remained upgraded or what can I do to return to the previous version of my media player?

Is un-installing new version of media player safe? Won't I lose my Windows media player of any version and remain with nothing?
