I hate this question...but here's my story...

I met this girl few a months ago, I like her, i dont know if she likes me the same way or whatever and is stayin away from it because well even though we live somewhat close together when at home, she goes to school out of state, so like, what is the point you know? my biggest fear is that if i try to become her good friend, will she only ever see me as that? do i have any chance to become her potential boyfriend in the future or more if i am her friend right now? she wants me to visit her at her college...i mean its amazing how much she texts me and stuff even though she is states away...dont know if shes interested or not...

its funny we hung out and she texted me the same night saying to def come visit her at school, so i dont know what this means or is hinting...does she like me? can we be somethin in the future? i hate figuring it out. i dont want to tell her i like her because i heard thats the wrong way to go. maybe hints are good?

You can ever have a good relationship as a b/f g/f, without being friends. That friendship is one of the key things that forms the solid base, that everything else builds on.

Just keep in mind a couple of things for this situation. No matter what, there is always some risk that going from being friends to being a couple has risk of losing a friend. Of course if that happens then in the long run you are better off anyway. take it slow, and don't push things, and if it seems that being a couple isn't going to happen, your friendship is more likely to survive. Be honest about your feelings, and listen to what she is saying, not what you want to hear.

My fiance and I are not only getting married but we're best friends. We became friends at work and he dared to ask me out on a date. That was two years ago.

I believe starting out as good friends is the way to go. It makes for a stronger relationship.

Every relationship should start out as a friendship. It is impossible to truly love someone that you don't like. Go visit her. Find out what is going on. She may want to get to know you better, as well. This would be a great way to find out if you and she are compatible.

I think you will find out it doesn't work. In the end, you may lose a good friend.

just ask her out!! =) just get it over with on msn or with email, but before you do it ask her if she has a boyfriend already, if she says she does have one then try to be happy for her.
