Obviously he wants to hang out with you. It could mean that he finds you to be an interesting person and wants to get to know you and become friends.

its his subtle way of asking you out. If you are interested in him make sure he sees you at the game and you do hang out after. If he sees you at the game watch him because he;ll try to impress you. The hanging out after will be fun. Good Luck!

Doesn't commit him to anything - obviously if you never show up YOU aren't interested, but he didn't "ask you out" so he's not going to be crushed.
Good chance to get to know each other & see if there is anything there if you ask me!

I would say yes. He is probally good at basketball and is trying to impress you in whatever means he can. Worst case you could go and see how it all pans out.
