Please follow the steps below

1 Use a toothbrush
2 Use toothpaste
3 Brush slowly on the front back and bottom teeth
4 Brush your tounge and gums
5 Be sure to brush for at least two min
6 Spit and rinse

I would suggest you use a Elctric Toothbrush and Crest toothpaste !
Hope this helps !

Using circular motions begin at the back of the mouth and brush close to the gum line, slowly moving forward. Repeat for two minutes, first on the outer side of the teeth and then on in the inside. Brushing the tongue is optional. Rinse, then floss between teeth. Rinse with mouthwash if desired.

I have this fancy $125 toothbrush from the dentist with a spinning head. It also has a flossing brush that cleans between your teeth. After that I floss with regular floss and use listerine. I do this right before I leave for work in the evening, and when I get home in the morning before I go to bed.

For me, carefully...I now have a loose filling! LOL!
also, I use more of the sensitivity toothpaste..which is better for you..and I try NOT to brush to harshly...I usually do brush quickly and kind of briskly on my teeth..but, you are supposed to use a soft bristle on your teeth...so as NOT to brush off the enamel...and bone...and to be kind to those "pearly whites"!
also, baking soda is good, salt with hot water is great for infected gums..or bleeding gums...and if you have a toothache...use either ambesol, or whatever they have out there for tooth pain..and or cloves...which is a more natural ingredient for tooth pain, until you can make it to your dentist!

also, I would highly recommend seeing dentists at a dental school...they are learning..but, they are soooo good! and you don't have to pay an arm, leg, toe, and a head!! LOL! Student dentists...are wonderful!!! They do a fabulous job!

P.S> And, don't forget to floss, and "Smile, darn ya Smile!"(Roger Rabbit)

I start with a whitening mouth wash then floss. Follow it up by brushing for 60 seconds with a whitening toothpaste with an electric brush.

The dentist told me to get a Sonic Care. I did, and never looked back. My receding gums are now normal. I find it worth the price.
