He would only be condemned for claiming to be an actor.

No it was a sacrifice. Not Suicide.
Kind of like what Jesus did. Only you can not compare the two. If Jesus came to earth knowing that he was to die, could that be called suicide?
Taking an overdose of drugs (purposely) would be suicide.
Jumping in front of a semi to push a child out of the way would be a sacrifice.
A person would know what they are doing would probably cause their death, but to save another would be worth it.

That's sacrifice. Sacrifice is when you do it so that others can live. Suicide to me is an idea that based upon negative things, like hopelessness, depression.
God forgives those who trust Him. He's said it over and over in the Bible. The word sometimes shows up as 'faith'. That means trust. Only those who trust in God through Jesus Christ are forgiven.

why do so many people think God does not forgive suicide? it does not matter how, where or why a person dies, if he was a believer......however, Jesus said, there is no greater love than this that a person lay down his life so others may live. he would get extra points!!BTW Jesus was not murdered, He lay down his life of Himself.
my question is, since Moses struck the rock twice instead of speaking to it, what happens?[the rock represented Christ]

Scripture tells us that it is beneficial to think of others before yourself, to place others in high regard, and place them above yourself.
That is the moral standing one should take. Your question is a good one, and with that, one can ask, did Jesus commit suicide? the answer and the answer to your question... no.
suicide, is diliberately taking one's own life for selfish gain. To diliberately take one's life for the purpose of one's own reasons without the regard of others is selfish and what Jesus did for us was far from selfish, it was a sacrafice.
A sacrafice out of love and compassion for others. Loving someone above yourself is never a selfish act, it isn't considered suicide.
God so loved the world, He has nothing to regret when He sent His son for us... He acted out of love and pure unselfishness... His love is unending, He does not regret nor need to forgive Himself for saving HIS CREATION. He cannot fogive Himself, because He did no wrong.

Have you heared about Samson who is the third to last of the Judges of the ancient Children of Israel mentioned in the Hebrew Bible, the Tanakh. He died together with his victims as he collapsed a Philistine temple:
"Samson said, 'Let me die with the Philistines!' Down came the temple on the rulers and all the people in it. Thus he killed many more as he died than while he lived." (Judges 16:30).

There's a huge difference between commiting suicide and sacrificing one's life for another. The latter is commended by Jesus.

Im gonna guess that God would forgive him, bc its not like slitting his wrist bc he was trying to escape from something in his life, it was him allowing others to have life thru him.

That would count as suicide.
However it is a movie so God doesn't matter.
Oh that's right God is fiction too so in reality God doesn't matter either!

You really shouldn't take events that happen in movies too seriously. Honestly, do you care what would happen to a fictional character in the fictional afterlife? Do you think god watches movies and judges the characters in the movies based on their fictional stunts and actions? Get real...
