The Trinity is clearly shown in scripture

Since some of you are asking for proof text, here goes:

Matt. 28:18, Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit,
1 Cor. 12:4-6, Now there are varieties of gifts, but the same Spirit. 5And there are varieties of ministries, and the same Lord. 6And there are varieties of effects, but the same God who works all things in all persons.
2 Cor. 13:14, The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with you all.
Eph. 4:4-7, There is one body and one Spirit, just as also you were called in one hope of your calling; 5one Lord, one faith, one baptism, 6one God and Father of all who is over all and through all and in all. 7But to each one of us grace was given according to the measure of Christ’s gift.

1 Pet. 1:2, "according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, by the sanctifying work of the Spirit, that you may obey Jesus Christ and be sprinkled with His blood: May grace and peace be yours in fullest measure."
Jude 20-21, "But you, beloved, building yourselves up on your most holy faith; praying in the Holy Spirit; 21keep yourselves in the love of God, waiting anxiously for the mercy of our Lord Jesus Christ to eternal life."

The trinity is too deeply rooted in the bible and to discount that would be foolish.

There is one living God. He is spirit, all parts of Him are alive 1. God spoke to Mary's egg to grow and "His living "Word" fertilized the egg and became part of that egg, and it began to grow, both the human part and the Spirit part became one.
2. A human baby was born thus becoming the "Son" of God.
3. True human, True God.
4. Jesus died and rose from the dead, what most seem to forget is that it was the Human body that was raised and just as the Bible says "we will be changed into spirit life at our resurrection" so too was the human body of Jesus the human changed.(flesh and blood can not enter the kingdom of Heaven).
5. God is our Father the creator the "POWER"
6. Jesus is His "LIVING WORD" that created all things, that became part of man. Jesus that once was human is now a spiritual being in Heaven and serves as our "ONLY SAVIOR", MEDIATOR, AND PRIEST.
7. The Hole Spirit is God's "Living Will & Desire" that we can understand as we get closer to Worshiping "The Father" in "Spirit".

Show it to me. Just one verse that actually says "God in three persons." If that's what we are supposed to believe, then why, why did no prophet, no apostle ever say so, not one single time???
What Jesus did says is "He that has seen me has seen the Father." John 14:9. If the Father was a separate "person," when Philip said, "show us the Father," why did Jesus not show them???
Did you know the word "Elohim" was once used to refer to Moses? Was Moses three persons? I don't think so. God said Moses would be an "Elohim" to the Egyptians. The plural word refers to the majesty of God, and his omnipotence, not any "thre persons."
Read Deuteronomy 4:35-39. That is a clear contradiction of the idea of a 3-person "Godhead." What is a person anyway, in relation to the Trinity?

I claim to be Christian (quietly, cause of all the BS that people automatically assume about me if they find out). I believe that scripture is holy in that it is one story of humanity's search for God. It is the tradition that I was raised in, and I find the worship, liturgy and tradition comforting. I find that it provides a common language for talking about God. Like language, I believe that it is only one way to discuss the human longing for the Divine. Creator, Redeemer and Sanctifier are the three aspects of the Trinity.

Yes, "clearly". Where exactly is that found again?

I'm still waiting to see the proof in those texts of yours. The doctrine of the Trinity is much more involved and complex than anything you submitted. It was created by ancient Christian theologians. Nothing in the Bible verses you cited definitively teaches anything close to the trinitarian doctrine as set forth in such things as the Athanasian Creed.

I do not know that much about religion. I am very confused. I used to be a Mormon for awhile. I have been told by different people that I will go to hell because i do not believe the right thing. I do not know who is right. I found the Mormons to be mean and cruel, I believe that they are a cult. But I still do not know what the true religion is.

Show me where it uses the words "Holy trinity" Or even just "trinity" and I'll shut my mouth.

But with Jesus' mixed messages on whether he is God or not, it might not be clear to some.

The clearest evidence of the Trinity is in Genesis...

Where God says, "Let us make them in our image...."

The Hebrew word used there is "Elohim" which means God.

"Elohim" is a plural word...

i agree. they are sadly mistaken. like the LDS church (mormons) don't believe in the Trinity. I think that the Trinity is a crucial part of Christianity...no Trinity=no Christian
