Hi Trey,
I will pray for you and Samantha. But I just want to mention as well, part of us being God's obedient children is that we need to accept when it is God's will that certain things should come to pass. This is not to mean that God lets things happen, it means that God has an infinite knowledge that we can't understand, he has a plan for Samantha and for you.
If the worst should happen, I know that you will once again see Samantha. We are all children of God and as his children we are one eternal family which is everlasting, passing on beyond this mortal life we will all one day live in perfect harmony and will be priviledged to have perfect bodies which have no disease or missing limbs, and we will have the same relationships we have now with friends and with families.
You've touched my heart.

Dear Trey,
I am so sorry to hear about Samantha. I will be in prayer for her and for you. I am praying that whatever happens, that her life will be a shining example to those around her and that you would be strong and an encouragement to her. I am also praying for her doctors that they would be wise in her treatment and that she would be uplifted in all things. Most of all that God would give you both the peace and joy in the midst of this great trial. May God be with you.

Heavenly Father, we lift up Samantha and Trey to you....Be with them Lord....Show Samantha how much you do love her. Take this cancer from her body...We know you are the Great Physician and can make all things new again. We ask this Lord, not for our glory but that Yours will be made known now and to future generations as this couple show people the wonders you are doing in their lives. Give Samantha the peace that passes all understanding that she will have no doubt You love her and are there with her in everything...Thank you for Trey and his willingness to bring this up in a public forum to get the prayer support they need. We ask you to give him wisdom in talking to Samantha, that he will be able to say the right thing at the right time. In the precious name of Jesus. Amen.

Just had this identical situation here in my community. Sorry to hear about it.If she is a firm believer in Jesus then she has nothing to worry about, either she will beat the cancer or God will call her home. She's actually been blessed and touching lives in ways we can't even imagine.God is using the two of you to reach people through this and bring more people to Him. I would be more than happy to pray for both of you, just remember that no matter what happens that she is the one in a win-win situation and that you should support her, love her,and let her know that you will be okay.

Samantha will survive or she won't. Her spirit is fine. She has someone who loves and cares for her. Just be there for her and see how it goes.
The person who needs prayers are you Trey. Your spirit has been focus else where. I could recommend allot of verses, but for you I recommend Psalm 23.
For Samantha, I recommend Psalm 22 which is the last prayer Jesus said on the cross. Perhaps you and Samantha can share this psalm together.
Remember Christians are followers of Christ, so let him take the lead.
Bless you both.

I don't understand how God might not want anyone to live.
God is Life.
God is Love.
You have my prayers.
Sometimes people are afraid to rely on their faith to ask for healing becasue they feel that if they aren't healed it might mean that their faith isn't good enough. That's not True... sometimes God's plan is just different that what we think it should be. Still, that doesn't mean we can't pray for good health. But our faith shouldn't be shaken if our desire is not answered. The most important thing about faith is that we recognize and respect the fact that God is Good and is in Control of everything, and things happen for a reason, even if we don't understand it.
There are instances in the Bible where Jesus was approached by people who wanted him to come and heal someone who was sick, and he basically said, go home and he didn't need to go there, and told them that their faith alone that he could heal their loved one was good enough for that person to be healed.
Prayer WORKS! The healings of Biblical days are not magic that happened long ago. They can be and are as real now as then.
Some people think that this faith healing is the result of the prayers or the thinkers who bring about healing by our actions or our thoughts. That isn't quite right... it is more by a more full recognition of the reality that God is Life and God is Love and allowing those and all other Divine Truths to shine thorugh us, dispelling sickness and telling it to go away.
What it really comes down to is God is all Life, Love, Mind, Spirit, Soul & Truth. God is all powerfull, and no problem is too much or to little for God to fix. In reality, disease has no power over us, except the power it is allowed through our acceptance.
I would suggest that you pick up a copy of the "Science and Health" by Mary Baker Eddy. She writes at length about healing through faith. See chapter 1 on Prayer, and Chapter 8 on Footsteps of Truth.
But it is not necesasary to read any book or practice your religion in any certain way or pray in any particular fashion. All you need do is give yourself completely and totally to God, recognize that God is Everywhere and capable of Everything Good, recognize that with God all things are possible, and put your Life in God's hands. Doing this allows God's Word, Love and Life to radiate from within and through each of us. This is, on the one hand, very difficult to comprehend and actually execute, but on the other hand, very simple.
God created Man in his image and likeness. As Christians, we understand that we are all, each and every one, members of the body of Christ, and we are all empowered through Christ with those same healing powers that Jesus allowed to work thorugh Him, and the same Authority to ask for health to be restored spo that Love and Life may shine.

God does not will for any of us to die or for people to suffer we live in a world of man where horrible things happen, terrible things that we must endure. IF the worst should come to pass it is not because no one prayed hard enough, did not believe enough or because God does not want her to live and for you to be happy. It is because terrible things happen.
God is always there loving us and wanting to comfort us. I hope and pray that through both yours and Samantha's pain and suffering you will be able to feel that love and it will help provide you with the stength comfort and courage you will both need to face the road ahead.

i'll be praying for you and her. but think on this a little, she is one of God's beloved lambs. maybe He wants her to be with Him. maybe He's calling her Home, because He can't stand to be without her anymore. God loves all of us more than we can even imagine. She'll be going to heaven and someday you'll join her there. this life if not all there is. God want us all to be with Him, but we have something to do here first. Maybe she's done what God intended for her or maybe by her dying her life or you will help someone come to know The Lord. God has a plan for all things, remember that. I hope she lives, but if she doesn't i pray God gives you strength.
peace and God bless

I'll pray for her and you also Trey. Encourage her to look to the Lord for comfort and strength. None of us knows when the Lord will call us home. Remind her that He has a plan for each of us and for her to trust that. Assure her that she and you will reunite in heaven and know each other. I recommend a book or CD "Heaven" by Randy Alcorn. It's very uplifting and encouraging for you and her. Totally based on the Bible. May the Lord be with you both.
