I'm just wondering if it's as rarely practiced as I think and how you like to practice it and what you know about it. No pagan-bashing, please.

There are many Pagans in R&S and I know many Pagans in the real world. I don't think it is a rarity although if you don't know many others you may feel isolated.

Paganism is umbrella term for many religions that don't hold to the politically correct paths. I am of The Lore. There are Wiccans, Asatru, Witchcraft, and many others. Therefore your "Looking for fellow Pagans" is rather confused.

There are religions under the Pagan umbrella around the world and in the members in the millions. Some types of Paganism have been practiced for 1000s of years and they are still active.

It's not rare. I'm pagan (heathen) and proud of it!
The practice is not all that much about fancy rituals and walking in circles and saying long complicated incantations, but more about the way you live, the way you respect the nature, the Gods and yourself.
I know quite some about it, so if you're interested, you're welcome to mail me with specific questions - cause if I start typing everything I know down, I'll be here for a long time! ;)

You're not alone. There are quite a few of us, it's just a matter of finding your local groups. And there are numerous internet forums, too, if you find you don't have any local groups. How it's practiced depends on the tradition really. I'm with Squishy in that I also follow a darker Pagan path and give blood offerings (my own blood - a few drops) to my Gods. I also practice magick. :)

There are actually quite a few of us around here. I'm an Eclectic Pagan. My practices are mainly influenced by the Hellenistic/Thracian traditions, but I also incorporate elements of Siberian Shamanism, Hermetic Traditions and Green/Herbal Witchcraft among other traditions.

My faith is more of a Pagan-influenced Christianity. I consider myself a Christian Witch. I worship only the Father, Son and Holy Spirit but use various Pagan rituals and spells as my means of doing so. Though I do not believe that Paganism is quite as rare as you may think.

Brightest Blessings!

Celtic Reconstructionist here. I wouldn't say we're *too* common - maybe a half million in the US, give or take - but there's at least 2 other Pagans in the building I work in, so we're definately out there.

There are lots of us around here. There are more around everywhere than you think. I'm a Celtic Pagan. There are so many pagan religions, try a little reading and searching to see what you feel drawn to. We tend to kinda group ourselves by pantheon/cultural heritage. E-mail me if you have more questions.
