south east asia and african's country are still behind in all modern countries.why don't the developed countries adopt them and let them a hand?natural calamities and economics are also against them. so we should serve for the god 2 nd son.

We can't stop poverty because some people want and hold to more then they need. No one needs 40 billion dollars, so why do they have it, and why do we as a society look up to them? Until the adoration of greed and hording stops, poverty will exist.

Much of the planet is experiencing an exponential growth in population and
There is no way to overcome poverty if couples keep having more children than they can provide for.
Westerners started using birth control and waiting to have children until they had jobs to adequately support them.
They also started having way fewer children.
Some people , in the developed countries also , have many children just because they can and most of them are poor too ,
Even in developed countries , couples or mothers who ignore opportunities to postpone childbirth , pay the price . . .
When individuals decide to have children responsibly ,
Then they will escape poverty.

It is called capitalism and while there are a few people at the top that control all the resources it dribbles down so the ones on the bottom get nothing. I agree it is time to stop this there are enough resources that everyone could live comfortably instead of children starving to death in this day and age.

Well, welcome to the REAL world. We had had many fund raising campaigns to help fight poverty. It is to FIGHT poverty, but it can't STOP it. Poverty can't be stopped in this modern society, we can only reduce it by developing industries to provide more jobs.

PS, south east asia is NOT lacking, it is DEVELOPING! You have to bear in mind that even in europe and the america there are many hardcore poors living.
